After two new series made during 2018 (Seven Years of Passion and There is Time for All), Biljana continued at the same pace and created three new series in 2019 (The Time is Now, Rainy Day is not Tomorrow and Hesitation is not an Option). In all three series, the background is neutral, unlike the pastels of 2018, which were dominated by strong colors in the background. All the emphasis in The Time is Now series is on the events and feelings portrayed in the scene. The difference between the pastels of 2018 and 2019 is in the treatment of the background.
The topics that Biljana covers in her 2019 works are a continuation of the beginning of her research on deep emotions, unexpected situations and great loves – realized and unrealized. Tremendous longing and even greater passion are ever-present.
